摘要
指别是表明语言与语境关系的一种语用手段,这种关系我们叫作指别信息。缺乏一定的语境考虑,指别信息就会变得模糊,进而导致说话者与听者之间信息的南辕北辙,这通常是幽默产生的一个原因。从语用指别角度可以更好地理解英语幽默的诙谐所在,有助于提高英语语言鉴赏能力和交际能力。
Deixis is a means to indicate a relation between language and context. Without consideration of certain context, hearers may fail to get certain deictic information indicated by deixis. Thus, there will be a gap of understanding between speakers and hearers, which is usually one of the reasons why humor is generated. From perspective of deixis readers may well appreciate where the funniness lies in a humor, and cultivate English appreciation and communication as well.
