摘要
经过边缘检测得到的边缘图,通常会出现不同程度的边缘断裂现象,对后续目标识别、目标提取等带来了极大的困难。路径开(或闭)算子的特点是可定义一簇由单像素宽且方向、长度灵活的链式结构元素进行相关形态学运算,对于处理图像中线性结构具有极大的优势。提出了一种基于路径形态学的断裂边缘修复技术;实验表明,该算法能有效修复断裂边缘并控制其错误连接,为后续的图像处理提供了准确的信息。
The edge image presented by the edge detection, in general, will suffer edge crack or breaking in various degrees. It brings great difficulties to subsequent object recognition and object extraction and so on. The characteristic of path openings and closings can define a bunch of chain structuring elements with one pixel wide as well as flexible direction and flexible length to do morphological operation. It has great advantages of dealing with linear structure in image. This paper proposes a sort of restoration technique upon edge crack or breaking on the basis of path morphology. Experiments show this algorithm can effectively repair the edge crack or breaking as well as meanwhile control the errors of edge linking so as to provide accurate information for subsequent image processing.
