The adverse effects of impurity microelements in gray iron and ductile iron and their limits were introduced,other elements,such as Sn,Sb,Cr, Mo,V,Ti,Al etc.,were also explained. High purity pig iron for foundry is low content for Mn,P,S,Ti and some given Microelements. Microelements in high purity pig iron for foundry is much lower than limits in cast iron.
