摘要
在聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)的合成过程中添加不同量的功能改性剂(路易斯酸ZnCl2、阻燃剂等)制备阻燃聚酯;利用差示扫描量热仪、热失重分析仪、极限氧指数仪、水平燃烧仪、扫描电子显微镜等研究聚酯的热性能、燃烧性能、熔体滴落情况及燃烧前后的成炭形貌等.结果表明:在PET中添加路易斯酸,极限氧指数(LOI)升高到26% ~27%,最终残炭量提高,燃烧产物表面形成的炭层较PET燃烧残炭层更加致密,抗熔滴性能得到改善;添加路易斯酸和阻燃剂后,LOI及残炭量进一步提高,LOI达31%~ 32%,燃烧残炭的表面致密,PET的抗熔滴性能更好.
Flame retardant polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was prepared by adding different amounts of functional modifier (Lewis acid ZnCl2,flame retardant agent,etc.).The thermal properties,combustion performance,anti-dripping property and the morphology of the char residues after combustion were studied by differential scanning calorimetry,thermogravimetry,limiting oxygen index instrument,horizontal burning test and scanning electron microscopy.The results showed that the limiting oxygen index (LOI) was increased to 26%-27% and the mass of residual carbon char was also increased with the addition of Lewis acid into PET; the surface of the residual carbon layer after combustion was smoother and denser than that of pure PET,and the anti-dripping property was improved; the LOI rose to 31%-32% and the mass of residual carbon char further increased as Lewis acid and flame retardant agents were introduced; the surface of residual carbon layer was compact,and the anti-dripping property of PET was better.
