Application of MSCT in measurement of liver volume in normal adults

摘要 目的探讨应用MSCT测量正常成人肝脏体积的价值。方法选择无基础肝病、无引起肝体积变化的其他系统疾病成年人98名,按年龄分为4组,A组18~40岁(n=21)、B组41~50岁(n=22)、C组51~60岁(n=28)、D组61~83岁(n=27),行64层MSCT平扫,采用Syngo Acquisition工作站的Volume软件通过层切法逐层勾画肝脏各叶,由软件自动测算出数据。结果各组间男性尾状叶及肝脏总体积的差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05),女性左内叶、右前叶及肝脏总体积的差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。肝脏总体积与年龄呈负相关(r=-0.408,P<0.01),与体表面积、体质量呈正相关(体表面积:r=0.254,P<0.05;体质量:r=0.421,P<0.01),而与身高无相关(r=0.15,P>0.05)。结论正常生理状态下肝脏总体积随年龄、体质量、体表面积而变化;MSCT测量肝脏体积有助于指导临床对相关疾病制定治疗方案及选择手术方式。 Objective To investigate the application value of MSCT in measurement of liver volume in normal adults. Methods Totally 98 adults without liver disease (44 males and 54 females) were selected and divided into 4 groups according to age: Group A (18-40 years old, n=21), group B (41-50 years old, n=22), group C (51-60 years old, n=28), group D (61-83 years old, n=27). All subjects underwent 64-slice spiral CT examination. The margins of liver lobe were outlined manually using volume analysis software of Syngo Acquisition workstation, and the volume of liver lobes were calculated automatically. Results There were significant differences in male's caudate lobe and whole liver volume, as well as in female's medial segment of liver left lobe, right anterior lobe of liver and whole liver volume (all P^0.05). There was negative correlation between the whole liver volume and age (r=-0. 408, P〈0.01) and positive correlation between whole liver volume, body surface area and body weight (body surface area: r=0. 254, P〈0.05; body weight: r= 0. 421, P〈0.01), while no correlation was found between liver volume and body height (r= 0.15, P2〉0.05). Conclusion The total liver volume changes with age, body weight and body surface area in normal physiological conditions, and the MSCT measurement of liver volume is helpful to guiding clinical treatment plan for related diseases.
