摘要
莫言作品在海外的传播与接受始于1988年,迄今为止,其作品已被译为多种文字在国外出版发行。著名翻译家葛浩文、陈安娜、藤井省三、吉田富夫、尚德兰、诺埃·杜特莱等对其作品在海外的传播与接受,起到了重要的桥梁作用。莫言小说之所以有如此大的海外影响力,究其原因,得益于莫言小说创作中的世界因素,他将中国传统写实和外国魔幻主义的表现手法融为一体,艺术地展现出中国本土文化的复杂内涵,其标志性的莫氏风格成为广大海外读者了解现代中国的一面镜子;特有的民族性与真实性的融合,使其成为海外读者透视中国人心灵的一把钥匙;独特的语言魅力以及小说被改编成多部知名电影后引发的再阅读,也为莫言小说在海外的传播与接受起到了推波助澜的作用。这无疑提升了中国当代文学在世界文坛中的影响与地位。
The overseas propagation of Mo Yan＇s literatures began in 1988. His literature has been translated into many languages and published in foreign countries up to now, including English, French, Japanese and Swedish. The famous translators such as HowardGoldblatt, Anna Gustafsson Chen, Fujii Mi, Yoshida Fuo and Liliane Dutrait made a great contribution during the process of propagation overseas. There are several reasons for this appearance. The first reason is Mo＇ s writing stlyes, mixing the traditional Chinese realistic and foreign magic realism together in order to reveal the con- notation of Chinese native culture, became a mirror to help readers abroad to understand contemporary China. The second is his distinctive combination between national character and authenticity in his literatures, which has become a prism help- ing readers overseas to look through Chinese souls. Last but not the least, Mo＇ s special charm of language and the famous movies revised from Mo＇ s literatures help to push the waves of his novels＇ spreading and being accepted by foreign read- ers. These all undoubtedly enhance influence and status of the Chinese contemporary literature in the literary world.
