摘要
在过去五十年的发展中,ESP取得了很大成果。东南大学在ESP教学方面也取得长足的进步。然而要形成成熟的ESP教学及考核体系,还需要解决很多问题,同时还要对现有的ESP教学进行适当的改革和改进。本文重点分析东南大学理工科专业ESP教学现状,并建议在ESP教学中采用"合作教学"这一新的教学方法。
English for Special Purpose has achieved great results in its short history of less than fifty years. In Southeast University, where an excellent job is made of college English teaching, ESP teach- ing is also endeavoring to make some progress. Still some problems facing ESP teaching needs reforma- tion and improvement before a mature teaching and evaluation system for ESP is developed. This paper focuses on the current situation of ESP course for science majors in SEU and suggests a new feasible teaching approach joint teaching for ESP teaching.
