摘要
文章在OLG模型框架下研究储蓄与经济增长的均衡关系,结果表明,储蓄对经济增长的影响存在跨期效应,上一期的储蓄对当期的经济增长产生正向影响。在实证层面,采用省级面板数据发现,1979—2011年我国的居民储蓄能显著解释中国经济增长原因,并且呈现出东部、中部、西部基本一致的特征。文章研究表明,过去30多年我国城乡居民的节俭行为实际上为中国经济增长发挥了重要作用。
This paper studies the equilibrium relationship between savings and the economic growth within the framework of the OLG model, the results show that the savings impact on economic growth is inter-temporal effect; the last issue of saving has positive impact on current period of economic growth. At the empirical level, based on the provincial panel data, it is found that in 1979-2011 China＇s household savings can significantly explain the reason of China＇s economic growth with the characteristics of consistent among the eastern, central and western areas. Based on the studies, it is shown that the past 30 years frugal behavior of urban and rural residents in China actually played an important role in promoting economic growth.
