文章以中国历史为“经线”，以儒、道、释多元文化为“纬线”，联系宗教、哲学、美学等领域，论述了中国山水文化的思想轨迹，探讨了中国山水城市建设的发展盛衰；揭示了山水城市深厚的传统文化底蕴。
Taking the Chinese history as i°longitudei±, the multi-culture of Ru, Dao, Shi as latitudel±, and relating the ar- eas of religion, philosophy and esthetics, the article expounds the idea trace of Chinese Shanshui culture, discusses the ups and downs of development of Chinese Shan-shui city constructions, displays the deep traditional culture essence of Shan-shui city.
