China's aluminium farbrication works can not produce some high quality aluminium alloys strip and plate such as can stock and thicker than 100 mm hot rolling plate, although the total capacity of hers is the second in the world. This article introduces the review and trends in modernization and rebuilding of the China's aluminium fabrication industry. In the late five years, Southwest Aluminium Fabrication Plant will build a new 4-stand hot tandem mill, there are three heavy update extruders in commissioning and start-up.
