Effects of Sr and Sb Additions on Microstructures of Mg-2Al-Zn-Si Alloy

摘要 利用Sr及Sr、Sb复合分别对Mg-2Al-Zn-Si合金进行变质处理,研究Sr含量及Sr、Sb复合添加对汉字状Mg2Si变质效果的影响,分析Sr和Sb对Mg2Si相的细化机理。结果表明:随着Sr的加入,粗大汉字状Mg2Si的形貌得到显著改变,形成了均匀弥散分布的纤维状或颗粒状,当Sr含量为0.7wt.%时,细化效果达到最佳。在Sr和Sb复合加入时,当其含量均为0.5wt.%时,细化效果最好,其尺寸约为2.9μm;当其含量分别为0.5wt.%和0.7wt.%,组织中会出现块状Mg2Si。 Mg-2AI-Zn-Si alloy was modified with Sr addition or both Sr and Sb additions. The modification effects of Sr or both Sr and Sb additions were investigated. The refined Mg2Si phase was observed and the refinement mechanism of the original coarse Chinese script Mg2Si was analyzed. The results show that the original morphology of the coarse MgaSi was refined significantly with the addition of Sr. Refined fibroid and granular Mg2Si particles were achieved. Optimal microstructure can be realized with 0.7wt.% Sr modification. While with a combination of Sr and Sb to modify Mg-2A1-Zn-Si alloy, the modifying effect on the microstructure is more significant than that by Sr only. Adding 0.5wt.% Sr and 0.5wt.% Sb at the same time, the original coarse Chinese script Mg2Si can be refined to an average size of 2.9 μm. However, adding 0.5wt.% Sr and increasing Sb content to 0.7wt.%, faceted primary Mg2Si particles is observed.
