摘要
本文在增长回归框架下,利用中国省级面板数据,考察了教育投入及其结构对经济增长的影响。实证分析发现,从全国范围来看,教育投入对经济增长有显著的促进作用,教育投入结构对于经济增长具有倒U型的影响,而目前我国的教育投入结构仍然处在促进经济增长的阶段;从东中西分地区看,不同地区之间的教育投入及其结构对地区经济增长的影响存在很大差异。
The impact of investment in education and its structure on economic growth in China is analyzed in this paper in growth regressions framework, based on Chinese provincial panel data. The empirical results show that investment in education has a significantly positive effect on the economic growth and its structure has inverse-U-shape effect on economic growth in the national point of view. At present, the structure of investment in education in China has pro-growth effect. However, the impacts of investment in education and its structure on economic growth in different regions of China are quite different in the regional point of view.
