摘要
将使用评价理论的"态度"资源作为分析工具,利用SPSS统计软件对商务演讲语篇进行定性和定量的分析,旨在对评价资源在演讲辞中构建人际意义的作用进行探讨。对16篇各大跨国公司的首席执行官或总裁发表的商务英语演讲进行了分析,以期发现他们对中国经济形势、跨国公司经营状况以及未来经济发展等方面的看法,对中国全球化战略提供参考。
Appraisal theory studies the evaluative resources by which speakers adopt particular value positions or stances. It consists of three basic systems: attitude, graduation and engagement. This paper both qualitatively and quantitatively studies the 'ATTITUDE' resources in 16 business English speeches made by CEOs from different multi-national corporations using SPSS as a statistical tool. Through the study, this paper aims to explore the interpersonal meaning in these speeches and also tries to study these speechmakersattitude towards China, our economic situations, performance of the multi-national corporations and their views on the economic development in the future.
