摘要
威廉·福克纳被评为"现代主义作家"。然而,在他的文学文本中存在着大量差异性、异质性空间的后现代叙事手法。他的思想与作品穿越了真实和想象、中心与边缘,处在一种时间与空间、历史和未来的交融之中。本文借助于福柯异质空间权力和空间隐喻理论对福克纳典型文本进行分析,归纳其异质空间书写的主要形态和表征意义,以期深入理解福克纳对既有空间、权力的社会性批判。
William Faulkner can be approached through a postmodern lens.In his fiction,the dissolution of the boundaries between time and space,past and future,reality and imagination,as well as center and margin demonstrates his anticipation of postmodern diversity and heterogeneity.Based on Michel Foucault＇s theory of ＂heterotopias＂,this essay discusses the ideographic function and ideological dimension of Faulkner＇s literary spaces.
