摘要
随着中国人口老龄化、高龄化趋势的加剧,老年照料需求日益凸显。目前,对老年人的日常生活照料主要由家庭成员承担,尤其是女性家庭成员在老年照料中扮演着重要角色。老年家庭照料隐含着强烈的性别议题,有着丰富的政策含义。梳理相关文献发现,现有政策更多强调的是家庭成员对老年人养老的责任与义务,对老年家庭照料照料者的支持极其有限,性别视角缺失。通过分析当前中国女性老年照料者面临的困难与挑战,文章阐述了女性老年家庭照料者的政策需求;通过梳理与老年照料相关的公共政策,考察了国内对女性老年家庭照料者提供社会支持的状况,并对其存在的问题及原因进行了分析;最后。
A need for elderly care increasingly stands out in China where the population is aging and the number of seniors rises. At the moment, elderly care is mostly provided by relatives, especially female family relatives. Thus, elderly care is a gendered topic and has strong policy implications. A review of existing literature has revealed that current policies lack a gender perspective as they emphasize family＇s responsibilities for elderly care more than social support for caregivers of elderly care. This paper discusses the need for policy support for female caregivers of elderly domestics care and recognizes the challenges and problems faced by female caregivers of elder- ly car6. It identifies the reasons why there is limited social support for caregivers of elderly domestic care and proposes ways to promote gender equality in related public policy.
