胡朴安作为近现代著名文字训诂专家,毕生致力于文献编纂,著述等身。《中华全国风俗志》和《俗语典》即明确地体现出他的文献编纂观:坚持以经世致用为目的;注重资料的系统纂集;注重对学术史的整理和编撰;力求学术创新,不落窠臼;着眼于风俗、俗语等传统学术边缘学科。他的文献编纂观及其实践在当时即处于学术前沿,起到承上启下的文化传递作用。参考文献10。
As the famous textual exegesis experts of modern times, Hu Pu＇an devoted his life to literature compilation and wrote lots of works. All-China Traditional Custom and Idiom Dictionary clearly reflects his literature compilation theory in which he aimed to emphasize statecraft; focus on systematical compiling; focus on the collation and edition of the academic history ; strive for the academic in an creative way rather than in the conventional pattern; pay attention to the interdisciplinary subject of the traditional academic such as custom and idiom. His theory and practice in literature compilation got on the academic frontiers at the time and played an important role in the transmission of the culture.
