摘要 秀丽隐杆线虫(Caenorhabditis elegans)作为一种经典的模式生物,具有虫体小、生命周期短、虫体透明等特点,易于培养和观察,近年来在生命科学领域得到了广泛的运用。该文综述了利用秀丽隐杆线虫作为微生物感染模型进行抗感染药物体内研究的进展,并展望了秀丽隐杆线虫作为模式生物的应用前景。 The nematode Caenorabditis elegans (C. elegans) is a unique whole animal model which has been widely used as a host model for drugs in vivo study in recent years. There are many technical advantages of C. elegans, such as its small size, short life circle and easy culture. The development of the studies of microbial pathogenesis and antimicrobial discovery using C.elegans-based assays have mainly been discussed in this paper. C. elegans may turn out to be a powerful tool for antimicrobial drug discovery and other applications in the future.
