摘要
文章针对TN/STN面板作为显示器件已经风光不再的大背景,提出了业内应该把视野从LCD拓展为LCE,即从Liquid Crystal Display(液晶显示器)拓展为Liquid Crystal Element(液晶器件)的论点,并归纳总结了各类液晶器件近年来在相关领域的主要应用概况及其发展趋势,为无源LCD行业拓展自己的"蓝海"提供了一个可资借鉴的新思路。
Under the background that the TN/STN panel Display device is no longer successful, this paper puts forward the field of vision should be extended from LCD for LCE, i.e., from the Liquid Crystal Display （LCD） to Liquid Crystal Element （Liquid Crystal Device）. And the main application situation and development trends of all kinds of liquid crystal device in related fields in recent years are summarized. A new idea is provided for passive LCD industry developing its own Blue Ocean Strategy.
