摘要
民族中心主义在翻译及跨文化交际中有着重要的影响。归化与异化翻译是英汉翻译的两种基本方法,在不同的视角下,二者各有其重要性。通过对民族中心主义的定义、特征的讨论,认识归化与异化翻译策略对文化传播有着方向性的影响,从而指导译者的翻译立场选择。
Ethnocentrism is a significant aspect that affects translation and intercultural communication dearly. Domestication and foreignization are the two basic strategies of translation on which translators have been focusing from different cultural points of view. Throughout the study on the definition and feature of ethnocentrism,to select the trend of basing on the source language culture or the target language culture has a great influence to the direction of the cultural transmission.
