美军院校开展管理案例教学的理论探究 被引量:5

摘要 管理案例教学,通常是指是以组织曾经真实发生的具体事实为教学背景,经过师生间的互动讨论,共同来探讨组织行为与决策的原因,或发觉组织潜在的问题,并设法提出一些解决的对策。根据教育理论,管理能力无法通过按部就班的程序和步骤进行教学来掌握,而必须通过逼进真实的高水平训练和及时总结实践经验教训才能获得。基于这种认识,以实践为导向的案例教学逐渐成为美军培养军官管理能力培养的重要方法之一。值得注意的是,美军院校在探索和推广案例教学的过程中,并非为案例教学而案例教学,而是注重广泛吸取教育理论最新成果并结合美军实际进行改进,并将其融入整体教学设计中。具体而言,美军院校从知识分类入手构建起案例教学的理论基础,提出了体验学习的案例教学模型并积极探索了行动后反思的新型案例教学方法。本文旨在对美军这一经验进行较为系统地梳理,以期借鉴。 Management case teaching, generally means to teach with real organizational specific facts as background and discuss interactively between students and teachers which aims at finding potential problems the organization of and proposing some solutions. According to the theory of education, management ability can not be taught through a step - by - step procedures and must be promptly summed by pressing in a real high level of training and practical lessons to get. Based on this understanding, practice - oriented teaching case has become one of the important methods of U. S. military officer management capacity - building system. It is worth noting that the U. S. military academies do not deem case teaching just as a teaching method, but rather focus extensively on the latest achievements of the educational theory as theoretical guide, and make its integration into the overall instructional design. Specifically, the U. S. military academies have made their progress of management case teaching in mainly three areas as follows: First, they have built up its theoretical basis of the case teaching from the knowledge classification theories; Second, they have developed a case teaching model of experiential learning; Third, they have actively explored new case teaching method of After- Action Review (AAR). This article aims to systematically probe into the U. S. experience for reference.
