词汇教学在英语教学中的作用不言而喻。词块理论丰富了词汇教学,并相对于其他形式的词汇教学有着很大的优势。词块理论认为人的大脑中有大量的预置词块,使用时直接提取输出,无需语法生成和分析,对学生词汇的综合能力的提升有较大帮助。
Vocabulary teaching plays an important role in English teaching. Chunk Theory enriches vocabulary teaching. Compared with other forms of teaching and practice, chunk strategy has obvious advantages. According to chunk theory, there are thousands of prefabricated lexical chunks stored in the brain. They can be retrieved from the memory without being subject to generation or analysis by grammar. The accumulation of lexical chunks helps to improve students’ vocabulary comprehensive competence.
