摘要
英语专业四级考试是目前国内规模较大的外语标准化测试之一,它对英语教学具有正面和反面的影响。在语言测试反拨作用的理论基础上,通过对铜仁学院外语系2009级英语专业四级考生进行的调查问卷和教师访谈结果分析,发现英语专业四级考试对教学产生了正面的促进作用,也产生了消极的负面影响,并对此提出了相应的对策。
As one of the large-scale English standardizing tests in China, TEM4 (Test for English Majors-4) has made positive and negative effects on English teaching nowadays. On the basis of "Washback Effects" theory in Lan-guage Testing, the paper finds TEM4 makes both positive and negative effects on English teaching by a re search study on the juniors majoring in English of Tongren University, and put forward some corresponding countermasures.
