摘要
命题可以分为实然性命题、应然性命题与或然性命题三类,各种命题都属于知识的范畴。自由教育从知识的层面上可以理解为以传授自由知识或自由学术为核心内容的教育。自由教育对于大学有着极其重要的意义,世界一流大学都崇尚自由教育并据此培养人才。不同类型的命题与自由知识的关系是不一样的,了解不同类型命题的教学意义并在教学中自觉、合理地加以区分和灵活运用,是自由教育具体实施的有效途径。
Propositions could be classified into such three major types as the reality prop- ositions, the necessity propositions and the probability propositions, which all belong to the sphere of knowledge. From the perspective of knowledge, liberal education could be consid- ered as the education focusing on imparting liberal knowledge or liberal academy. Liberal ed- ucation is critical to the universities; all the world-class universities attach importance to lib- eral education and cultivate talents accordingly. The relationships between different types of propositions and liberal knowledge are divided. The conscious and reasonable discrimination of different types of propositions based on the understanding of their educational meanings would be beneficial to the prfictice of liberal education.
