摘要
1949～1955年,广西玉米生产中主要以种植农家品种为主;1956～1960年以推广品种间杂交种为主;1961～1970年以选育和推广双交种为主,这个时期实际上是试验示范时期;60年代末至70年代,广西着重玉米单交种的选育,是杂交种推广的发展时期;1978～1982是群体改良种推广时期;1985年起我区玉米杂交种推广得到了恢复性的发展,是"顶(三)交种"推广时期;90年代初随着玉米生产水平的不断提高,开始推广直立和半直立型品种。在普通玉米生产取得巨大成就的同时,一批特用玉米品种也得到了广泛应用;近年来在东盟国家和非洲国家也进行了玉米的推广和开发。
From 1949 to 1955,maize production in Guangxi Province was mainly landraces.From 1956 to 1960,it focused on promoti ng Intervarietal hybrids.From 1961 to 1970,maize production gave priority to the breeding and promotion of double cross hybrids,which was in fact a demonstration period.From the late 60’s to 70’s,Guangxi emphasized on maize hybrid breeding,at which was the developmen t period of hybrid extension.1978 to 1982 is the groups improved kind of promotion period.From 1985 Guangxi’s hybrid promotion had b een resumed and been developed,which also was the top（3） extending status.The early 90’s,accompanied with the rising corn production l evel,began to popularize the erect and semi-erect types.At the same time of ordinary maize production making great achievements,a num ber of specialty maize varieties had also been widely used.In recent years,ASEAN and African countries have seen the promotion and devel opment of maize as well.
