摘要 老挝第四系铁矿床为最新地质调查所发现,该矿床在老挝分布广泛。文章对铁矿床分布规律、野外产出特征及矿床地质特征进行了论述,认为老挝第四系铁矿床为沉积砾岩型铁矿,由冰川作用形成角砾状铁矿,河流作用形成砂土粒状铁矿,风化作用形成腐殖层砂铁矿。作者分析了该类铁矿床找矿前景,认为该类铁矿床可作为中国矿业企业在境外找矿的突破口。 The quaternary iron deposits are newly found in the latest geological surveys, which are widely distributed in Laos. In this paper, the authors discuss the distribution regularities, characteristics of field outcrops and the geological characteristics of the qua-ternary iron deposits, and conclude that the iron deposits belong to the sedimentary conglomerate type iron deposits. The brecciated iron deposits were formed by the quaternary glacial process, the sandy granular iron deposits by the fluviation, and the sandy humus iron de-posits by weathering. In addition, the authors analyze the prospecting potential, and point out that quaternary iron deposits can be taken as a breakthrough for Chinese exploration and mining enterprises in overseas prospecting investment.
