基于top-hat变换的手指静脉图像增强算法 被引量:1

摘要 为了有效增强手指静脉识别中的低质量图像,本文提出了一种基于top-hat变换的手指静脉图像增强算法。首先构造一组形状相同,尺寸递增的结构元素对手指静脉图像做top-hat变换。通过两种形式的top-hat变换可以提取出手指静脉图像在不同尺度上的明暗区域,包括每个尺度上和相邻尺度之间的图像细节信息。其次,利用top-hat变换提取出的明暗区域信息对手指静脉原图像进行变换以得到增强后的图像。实验表明,该算法对于低质量的手指静脉图像具有良好的增强效果。 To efficiently enhance the contrast of low quality finger vein images, a new finger vein image enhancement method based on top-hat transform is proposed. Firstly, the structuring elements with the same shape and increasing sizes are used for extracting the multi scale bright and dim regions of the finger vein image though the top-hat transform. The multi scale bright and dim regions, which are the bright and dim regions at each scale and the details between neighboring scales, are extracted by two types of the top-hat trans- form. Secondly, the finger vein image is enhanced though using the bright and dim regions information extracted by top-hat transform to transform the original finger vein image. Experimental results show that our method can efficiently enhance the contrast of the low quali- ty finger vein image.
