摘要
可能世界理论最早由莱布尼茨提出,在近二十年扩展到其他领域,文艺学界对此反应最为热烈,希望借此重新解释虚构与现实的关系。通过详细定义实在世界、可能世界、不可能世界的存在方式,描述了虚构叙述世界与这三个世界的联系:虚构世界的基础语义域是可能世界,一边寄生于实在世界,另一边可以卷入不可能世界。"三界通达"是叙述的基本特征,由此出发可以解决一系列文艺学的理论难题。
Possible World Theory was first proposed by Leibniz and has been extended to other areas in the last 20 years. Scholars in the literary and artistic circles reacted most enthusiastically, hoping to use Possible World Theory to explain the relationship between fiction and reality. This paper first defines in detail the ontological statuses of the actual world, the possible world, and the impossible world; then it respectively assorts the relationship between the fictional world and the other three worlds: the possible world is the semantic domain of the fictional world, which is rooted in the actual world and has the ability to transit to the impossible world. Free transitions in the three worlds is the basic feature of narratives. Based on this assumption, many problems concerning literary and artistic theories can be solved.
