摘要
翻译教科书中被当做金科玉律的奈达翻译定义的汉语译文不是经典译文,它不仅仅曲解了奈达翻译定义的原义,而且是个有严重语病的汉语句子,严重地损毁了教科书的品质。周流溪教授和周领顺教授为奈达和勒菲弗尔等人的翻译定义提供的汉语译文是中国译论界罕见的质量上乘的好译文,从本质上颠覆了以前的译文,是经典翻译定义的汉语译文的质的突破和飞跃。周流溪和周领顺的译文虽好但还有某些商榷之处。
Professor ZHOU Liuxi＇s translation of the classic translation definition of Nida and ZHOU Lingshun＇s translations of the two classic translation definitions of Nida and Lefevere are much better than those that are the products of misunderstand-ing and misreading but are not perfect since they still have something to improve.
