摘要
笔者所在的普通高中,学生普遍存在知识面较窄,缺乏与文章主题相关的背景知识及阅读能力差的f*-l~。而图式理论及相关的研究证实了内容图式对读者的阅读有着重要的影响。在近五年的高中英语阅读教学中,笔者采用内容图式理论指导教学,提高了学生的阅读能力。本文着重于内容图式在英语阅读教学中的运用,阐述了用背景知识的传授及让学生收集相关信息等方法帮助学生建立内容图式,通过读前测试及讨论等途径激活学生原有的内容图式,最后提出在教学中教师应改变传统的教学方式,注重内容图式。提高阅读教学的有效性。
In some schools students usually have a narrow range of knowledge and lack the background knowledge related to the reading material, which leads to their poor reading ability. Schema theory and the related research prove that content schema has a great effect on readers' comprehension. In the past five years, the author has applied the theory of content schema to reading teaching of high school and the students' reading ability has been improved. In this paper, the author analyses the application of content schema to students' reading comprehension, states how to help students establish content schema by teaching them background knowledge as well as asking them to gather related information, and shows how to activate the students' content schema by having a quiz or discussing before reading. The author also puts forward that teachers should change the traditional way of teaching by concentrating on content schema to improve the reading teaching.
