摘要
"公",原本是爵位,最早指部落首领、诸侯君主。至东周时代,有社会地位的人物如贵族功臣也有"公"的称号,在秦汉时期平民百姓也能被称为"公";与此同时,"公"作为对统治阶级的恭敬尊称,在周秦汉三代逐渐演化为社会交际中的常见尊称、特殊詈称和特殊蔑称。本文以《史记》中的公字作为研究视野,试析公字称谓在周秦汉三代的发展脉络。
The word "Gong" originally was the appellation of nobleman, referred to the tribal chief, vassal monarch. Till the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, some persons with a high position in society such as nobleman and minister also had got the appellation "Gong". During the Qin and Han Dynasty, civilians could also be called Gong. At the same time, Gong, used as the respectful appellation of the ruling class in Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasty, gradually evolved into the common social respectful appellation, special abusive appellation and special contemptuous appellation. This paper explores the word "Gong" in Records of the Historian, and tries to analyze the development context of the appellation Gong during Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasty.
