CoQ10 was an oil - soluble antioxidant presented in most eukaryotic cells, which was a vital coenzyme in cellular respiration and metabolism, and also referred to as the energy resource of heart. CoQ10 was widely used as the nu- trition supplementation in food, health care pharmacy, and make ups. The synthesis of CoQ10 and the detection methods, and the application in pharmacy, food and cosmetics industries were presented.
