摘要
从河道滞水和淤泥中分离出的光合细菌的纯培养物 ,根据菌体形态、生理生化特征等鉴定为荚硫菌属 (Thiocapsa)的桃红荚硫菌 (Thiocapsa roseopersicina) .该菌株可氧化 H2 S生成硫粒贮存于细胞内 ,能够利用多种小分子有机酸 。
A strain of photosynthesis bacteria was isolated from river backwater and sludge, and identified as Thiocapsa roseopersicina according to the structure of cells, biochemistry and physiology characteristics. The organism can grow photoautotrophically oxidizing sulfide to elemental sulfur which is then stored as globules inside the cell. Many kinds of small molecular organic acids can be used by this organism. It can grow under anaerobic condition in the light and aerobic condition in the dark.
