摘要
本文采用中国地级市的数据,对公共服务绩效与公民幸福感之间的相关关系进行实证分析。研究发现,公共服务绩效与公民幸福感显著正相关,表明政府提供的公共服务数量与质量是决定公民幸福与否的重要因素,而改进公共服务绩效是提升公民幸福水平的关键策略。研究还发现城市规模和居民经济收入同公民幸福感显著正相关,说明规模较大且经济发展水平较高的城市的公民幸福水平较高。论文对研究结果的意义和启示进行了讨论,并指出了未来研究方向。
Using data on Chinese prefecture--level cities, the paper empirically examines the relationship between public service performance and citizens' happiness. It finds that public service performance is positively and significantly associated with citizens ' happiness, implying that government service quality and quantity are the key determinants of citizens' happiness and improving public service performance is the primary approach to make citizens happier. It also finds that urban size and citizens' income are positively and significantly associated with citizens' happiness. The paper discusses the implications and contributions of the study, and presents future research avenues,
