摘要
战国至秦代的古文字与出土文献中有"县名+守"的记载。本文认为,这些"守"应是守官之意,指县的负责人。
Abstract: In the ancient scripts and excavated documents of the Warring States period and the Qin dynasty, the name of a county (xian) is often followed by "shou" [守]. The author contends that "shou" refers to shouguan [守官], i.e. head of a county.
