Promotion of Distribution to Consumption:A Survey of Micro-foundations

摘要 流通业作为连接生产和消费的关键环节,其发展对于我国当前扩大内需具有重要作用,国内已有的研究却都忽略这一作用的微观机制。文章通过梳理国外相关研究,以社会分工导致生产与消费的分离为逻辑起点,从节约搜寻成本、解决道德风险与逆向选择问题、提供舒适的购物环境以及降低退换货成本等角度对流通促进消费的微观功能进行概括总结。 As a key link that connects production and consumption, the distribution plays an important role in expanding domestic demand. Most of the present studies on the relationship between distribution and consumption, however, are not so convincing for lack of academic foundations. Through the literature survey, we construct a theoretical framework to explain how distribution can promote consumption by saving search costs, solving moral hazard and adverse selection, providing comfortable shopping environments and reducing return costs etc.
