摘要
在吐鲁番干热自然环境对共聚聚丙烯(PP1)与均聚聚丙烯(PP2)进行一年的自然暴露试验,运用扫描电子显微镜观察、拉伸试验等手段对两种PP在干热环境下老化前后的表面形貌和力学性能进行表征,并用红外吸收光谱对其结构变化进行分析。结果表明,两种PP在老化过程中随着老化程度加剧拉伸强度下降,PP2较PP1易遭受自然老化,12个月后其拉伸强度保持率仅为38%左右;两种PP的老化机理相似,老化后在分子链上产生羰基,且羰基量随老化时间的延长而增加。
Natural weathering experiments of copolymerized polypropylene(PP 1) and homopolymerized polypropylene(PP2) were performed up to one year in Tulufan where is in dry-hot climate.The surface morphology, mechanical properties and chemical structures before and after the weathering were monitored by scanning electron microscope, computer-controlled tensile testing and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy.The results show that during the natural weathering, the tensile strength of two PP decreases due to degradation.PP2 is more susceptible to degradation than PP 1, and the retention of tensile strength is just 3 8% after 12 months exposure in Tulufan.The weathering mechanism of PP 1 and PP2 is similar, carbonyl group is introduced into molecular chains, and its content increases with the increasing of exposure time.
