摘要
通过极限氧指数(LOI)、力学性能测试、热重分析(TGA)和扫描电镜(SEM)分析表征手段,研究了磷酸酯(PX-220)及其与蒙脱土(MMT)协效阻燃对rPET/PC合金材料的阻燃性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明,单独添加15%PX-220后,阻燃材料的氧指数达到27%;将2%MMT与15%PX-220并用,阻燃合金材料的氧指数提高到29%,但力学性能下降明显。TG分析表明,PX-220与MMT共同作用使阻燃材料的起始分解温度比未加入阻燃剂rPET/PC合金材料的降低,在失重约20%后阻燃材料的热失重速率减小,最终残炭量增加。SEM显示炭层更加完整、致密地覆盖了整个燃烧表面。
The effect of phosphate ester(PX-220) and its flame retardant synergism with Montmorillonite (MMT) on the flame-re- tardant properties and mechanical properties of recycled PET(rPET) and PC alloys was investigated by means of limiting oxygen index, mechanical properties testing, thermo-gravimetie analysis and scanning electron microscopic observation. The results showed that adding only 15% phosphate ester into the rPET/PC alloy, the oxygen index was up to 27%, and its oxygen index further increased to 29% when 2% MMT and 15% PX-220 was simultaneously used to fill rPET/PC alloy. However,there was an:obvious decrease in mechani- cal properties. The thermo-gravimetic analysis indicated that the initial decomposition temperature of flame retardant materials modified with PX - 220 and MMT together was lower than that of rPET/PC alloy without flame retardants, and that the thermal weight loss rate reduced after thermal weight loss was about 20% and the final char residue increased significantly. SEM images displayed that char residue layer was more integrated and dense to cover the burning surface of flame retarded material.
