摘要
英语谚语是英语语言文化的一个重要组成部分。作者从英语谚语词义上的修辞格、英语谚语结构上的修辞格及英语谚语语音上的修辞格 3个方面分析和探讨了英语谚语的各种特点 ,展现了英语谚语思想智慧和语言艺术的光彩。
English proverbs are a very important component in the English language. This paper deals with various features of English proverbs in terms of lexical stylistic devices, syntactical stylistic devices and phonetic stylistic devices, and therefore, reveals the glorious achievements of English proverbs in thought, wisdom, language and art.
