摘要
针对目前WDM-EPON中带宽分配和接入存在的问题,提出了一种新的低成本保护结构及动态资源分配算法,目的是降低WDM-EPON的接入成本和提高传输效率.低成本保护结构通过控制和数据信道间的快速波长切换来恢复光故障;资源分配算法的执行是在来自于非固定流量ONU的REPORT消息在ONUN-1的终端被接收到后,并同时考虑WDM-EPON中不同流量类别的ONU之间的额外带宽再分配来分配可用波长.仿真表明,作者提出的保护结构和算法不仅能够降低分级流量服务的总的端到端延迟,而且能够对工作光纤提供快速恢复机制,以降低传统保护结构的成本.
In view of the shortcoming existing in bandwith allocation and access technique in WDM - EPON at present, a sort of novel low cost protective framework and dynamic resource allocation algorithm is proposed in this paper. The aim is to reduce connective cost in the WDM - EPON and enhance transmission efficiency. The low cost protective framework recovers the optical failure by fast wavelength switching between control and data channel. The resource allocation algorithm is implemented after the REPORT messages from unstable traffic ONU received at the end of ONUN_ 1, and then assigns available wavelength by considering bandwidth reallocation a- mong ONUs for differentiated traffic classes in the WDM - EPON. Simulations show that the protective framework and algorithm proposed not only can reduce the overall end -to -end delay in differentiated traffic, but also ena- bles working feeder fibers to provide a quick recovery mechanism to reduce cost of the conventional protective framework.
