摘要
文章论述了"前数字化"时代、"参数化主义"时代以及"多智能体"时代的建筑数字化思想演进过程,并着重阐释了"参数化设计"、"算法设计"、"数字化建构"与"数字化建造"等基础概念。作者还从数字设计方法论角度介绍了"建筑数字编程设计"理论内容,阐释了"自上而下"的建筑几何设计方法以及"自下而上"的涌现理论;在编程与算法的方法论基础上,深入研究了"建筑数字化建造"对于数字范式革命的重要意义,涉及内容从建筑形式生成到基于建筑性能与生产方式一体化的数字化建造理论i展望了协同设计与社会多系统整合带来的建筑产业升级及建筑材料的革新。
This article discusses the theoretical evolution of digital design,through an analysis of its development phases:the pre-digital era,the parametric theoretical era and the multi-agent system era which is based on scripting and algorithmic design combined with form and performance,as well as collaborative design.Moreover,we examine and clarify the distinction between parametric and algorithmic design through their fundamental conceptual and technical aspects.In addition,we explore the field of methodological research of top-downgeometric design and bottom-up emergent design in architecture,and emphasize the important role that the theory of digital fabrication has played to the digital paradigm revolution.Finally,we highlight the prospects of evolution that digital fabrication brings about to the architectural and multi-dimensional material industry.
