摘要
文章从认知语法的角度,以奈达提出的7个核心句(kernels)为切入点,对功能对等的翻译观进行了重新审视。通过分析核心句在语言学理论基础、语义与句法的关系、语义分析方法等方面存在的缺陷,论证了在追求功能对等的翻译过程中引入认知语法分析的必要性。
The paper reviews Nida＇s functional equivalence theory from the perspective of cognitive grammar.Based on the analysis of the kernel theory with regard to its underlying linguistic theory,procedures for semantic analysis and the relationship between semantic meaning and syntactic structures,the paper demonstrates the necessity of introducing cognitive grammar into the process of interlingual translation for the purpose of improving the level of functional equivalence.
