The update on the pathogenesis of postoperative cognitive dysfunction

摘要 背景术后认知功能障碍(postoperative cognitive dysfunction,POCD)是麻醉手术后出现的认知功能减退,经常发生在老年人群中,可影响生存质量,给社会带来沉重的负担。目的探讨POCD发病机制的最新进展,以便降低其发病率。内容综述POCD的定义并讨论其发病机制和危险因素。趋向尽管POCD被普遍认为是多因素致病的结果,其主要发病机制仍不明确。老年人口的增加促使更多的研究关注POCD,以探索其潜在的发病机制,为防治其发生提供新思路。 Background Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) which is a decline in cognitive function after surgery and anesthesia occurs predominantly in elder people. It is likely to impair quality of life and constitutes a large burden on society. Objective The purpose of this review is to discuss recent development in the pathogenesis of POCD, and to minimize the incidence of POCD. Content Here we review the definition and discuss pathogenesis and risk factors of this condition. Trend Although there is general agreement that POCD is likely to be muhifactorial, the main pathogenesis remains unclear. The increasingly aged population has stimulated research on this condition, which is helpful to identify underlying pathogeuesis and to take comprehensive measures to prevent and treat POCD.
