摘要
"物哀"是日本古典美学最重要的范畴之一,它从审美反应机制、审美主客体之间的关系、理性与感性的作用关系、审美与伦理的关系、审美目的论等角度都突出体现和代表了日本美学与民族文化的独特性质,同时呈现出与欧洲古典美学传统在不同层面上复杂微妙的对应和对立,而这些都源于东西美学不同的文化背景、精神实践和思维方式。我们可以从中考察西方与日本美学传统的不同进路与深层特质,促进东西方美学的理解、对话与沟通。
Mono - no - aware is one of the most significant aesthetic categories of Japanese classical aesthetics. It reflects subtle correspondences and complex differentiations in varied perspectives compared with western classical aesthetics, like the response mechanism, aesthetic purposes, and the relationship between the aesthetic subject and object, between ration and emotion, as well as between aesthetics and ethics. It stems from Japanese cultural background, social practice and ways of thinking. Through the comparative analysis we can examine the structures and characteristics of the traditional Western and Japanese aesthetics, and promote the mutual understanding, dialogue and communication of Western and Eastern aesthetics.
