摘要
针对STCW78/10公约对海员英语应用能力的新要求和航海英语阅读的特点,采用实例说明的方法,论述了语境理论在航海英语阅读中的应用,并提出培养学生语境意识的若干途径。
Aecording to the new requirements of English application abilities for seafarers in STCW78/lO and the characteristics of nautical English reading, the essay raises some examples to elaborate the application of context theory in nautical English reading and puts forward several ways to effectively foster the context awareness of students.
