摘要 本研究采用句子偏好测试,对中国英语学习者和英语本族语者对于英语动词短语(动词+直接宾语,动词+介词短语以及动词±小品词所表达的)体特征的理解进行了研究。结果表明,高水平中国英语学习者对动词短语体特征的理解水平,基本达到了本族语者水平;而低水平者的理解水平,与本族语者仍有显著差异。三类动词短语理解的难易程度,从易到难依次为:动词+介词短语、动词±小品词、动词+直接宾语。 By using a sentence preference test,this paper tests Chinese learners of English and English native speakers on their comprehension of verb phrase aspect(i.e.aspectual meaning expressed by verb +direct object,verb +prepositional phrase and verb±particles).The research result reveals that high proficient learners of English perform as well as English native speakers,while low proficient learners of English differ significantly from English native speakers.The level of difficulty in the comprehension of the aspectual meaning expressed by the three types of verb phrases increases in the order of: verb+prepositional phrase,verb±particles,verb+direct object.
