摘要
方言分区是汉语方言地理学的重要课题之一,方言分区必须以同言线的考察和谱系分类的研究为基础,有些学者把方言地理、方言分区和谱系分类对立起来实际上是对方言地理学的一个根本误解。
The author, after briefly reviewing the history of introduction to dialect geography in China and some previ- ous studies concerned, points out that it is one of the important subjects concerning the Chinese dialect geography to deter- mine the area structures of Chinese dialects. The hierarchical structure of Chinese dialects must be based on the observa- tion of isoglosses and the study of lineage classification. It is a serious misunderstanding of dialect geography to set up a trichotomy between dialect geography, dialect area structures and family tree.
