摘要
翻译是一种双语的互动。在这个过程中,译词的正确选择需要依靠语境,分析语境获得正确的译词是实现翻译的重要手段。运用语境理论,选择以张培基中国散文英译作品为个案,分析了汉译英过程中对语境因素的把握和在词义理解基础上对译词的选择,揭示了它们的影响和作用。
Translation is a process of bilingual interaction in which the choice of words should be based on context. It is of vital importance to find proper words in the target language with the help of contextual analysis. Employing the theories related to context and taking Translation of Modern Chinese Essays by Zhang Peiji as an example, this paper analyzes the key role that context plays in the choice of words and the understanding of meaning.
