摘要
本文首先论述up的空间意义的认知过程 ,然后分析它们对隐喻拓展的认知过程。基于up的空间意义对隐喻意义所影射的程度 ,本文尝试性地提出了“隐喻层次”概念。由于隐喻是人类较高程度的思维 ,所以它具有不同程度的抽象性 ,这种抽象性难以具体地量化。所以对隐喻进行相对的层次分析 。
The paper discusses the spatial meanings of up and their cognitive process of how the spatial meanings are extended to metaphorical meanings. Based on the degree of the metaphorical meanings which are derived from the spatial meanings of up, the paper tries to suggest the concept of Dimensions of Metaphor. Metaphor is the high degree of human thought, so it is abstract to various degrees. It is difficult to specifically quantify the abstract degree of metaphor. Therefore it is the first step to the quantification of the abstract degree of metaphor by analyzing the dimensions of metaphor.
