摘要
菲茨杰拉德的小说《了不起的盖茨比》塑造了众多"摩登女"的形象,她们被刻画成一群地地道道的道德沦丧者,本文试图从女性主义视角分析这些"摩登女"的自私、空虚、金钱至上等悲剧性格的根源在于物质至上主义的制度及男权主义。
There are many typical flappers in The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald. They are completely evil in the novel. This paper tries to analyze their tragic characters such as selfishness, empty and money first, which result from the materialism and the patriarchal system from the feminism perspective.
