In this paper, numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the subsurface transport of contaminates spilled out from an oil-gas exploration well in USA. The result shows that the contaminants leaked from surface pad would pollute entire aquifer and will be detained for more than one year when considering the density-effects of fluids. Such pollute can effect the regional ecological and environmental conditions. If excluded the density-effects from the fluids, numerical simulation shows that the fluids would contaminate the shallow part of subsurface area. One can conclude that the spilled fluids have potential perils for the shallow ecological environments. In conclusion, negative effects by extraction oil pollute to local or regional environments can be continued for a long time. The hydrological and geological conditions should be considered during pollution control and environmental restoration.
